Our editorial process is designed to make home design software easier to compare without overstating what we know.
Start with the job
We compare apps around real tasks: drawing a floor plan, exploring interiors, presenting a design, and exporting a usable result. This keeps the recommendation tied to the reader's goal.
Check the source
Every current product guide is based on official product pages and help documents linked at the end of that guide. We record a source-check date and revisit pages when a feature or plan changes.
Be precise about evidence
Our current guides are desk research. We do not publish numerical ratings, speed claims, or first-hand usability judgments until we have tested the software ourselves. When hands-on testing begins, guides will state the device, project task, plan tier, and test date.
Separate editorial judgment from income
Future affiliate partnerships will be disclosed close to relevant links. A partnership will not buy a ranking or remove caveats. Advertising will be clearly distinguishable from editorial content. Read our affiliate disclosure for details.
