JobDiviner Privacy Policy

Information we process

• Account and transactions: sign-in email, email verification records, session credentials, credit balance and usage ledger, package and order IDs, payment amount and status, and refund or dispute records. Payment providers handle full card numbers; JobDiviner does not receive full card numbers.
• Content you choose to provide: audio from the selected tab, computer, or meeting app after you start listening; this may include your own voice if you allow microphone access. Speech recognition produces transcripts, speaker labels, and questions. AI requests may include questions, limited conversation context, selected web text, role and language settings, and generated answers.
• Browser and settings: the extension reads the active tab title and URL to identify the audio target and restricted pages. If you export notes, the title is written to your local download. A selection script runs on ordinary web pages so it can offer an exam-solution action after you select text. Broad page permission does not mean that full pages or browsing history are continuously uploaded.
• Local settings and operations: Chrome local storage holds your sign-in token, interface and audio preferences, role, language, and model settings you enter, which may include an API key. Our server may record access time, IP address, request path, browser or device information, and errors for security, billing, and troubleshooting.

When information is captured and used

• Audio is transmitted only after you click Start Listening and complete the relevant Chrome permission prompt. You can stop listening. Microphone permission is separate and optional. When Chrome provides a video track as part of screen or window audio sharing, JobDiviner does not read or upload video frames.
• Selected text is sent for a solution only when you click Solve With AI, press Alt+Q, or enable automatic solving on selection in Exam Mode. Questions you enter manually are also sent. With automatic solving off, selecting text only displays an action button.
• We use the information to sign users in, transcribe speech, generate AI guidance and exam solutions, manage and charge credits, reconcile payments, provide support, secure the service, and troubleshoot failures. AI output can be inaccurate and should be checked.

Service providers and sharing

• The extension currently connects to the JobDiviner backend at tokotu.tubeiqu.com/jobdiviner. Audio passes through that backend to the configured speech recognition provider; the public service currently uses Microsoft Azure Speech. Questions, necessary transcript context, and selected text are sent to the configured AI model provider. Available options include Qwen, DeepSeek, OpenAI, Kimi, Zhipu, and local Ollama; a request goes only to the provider in use.
• At checkout, WeChat Pay or Paddle processes the order and payment information needed for the method shown. Email verification codes are sent through an email service. These providers handle received data under their own policies. Processing locations may differ by provider and configuration.
• We do not sell personal information or use extension data for targeted advertising or data brokerage. We share data only as needed to provide the requested features, comply with law, or protect the service.

Storage, retention, and security

• Live audio, transcripts, and AI context are primarily used during the processing session; JobDiviner does not offer a permanent recording library. Conversation and solution content in the side panel is held in that panel’s memory. Up to 20 recent AI answers may be kept in Chrome session storage so the panel can restore them. Notes or solutions you choose to export are saved on your device under your control.
• Account, order, payment-status, and credit-ledger records are kept on the server for as long as needed to provide the service, handle disputes, and meet applicable tax or legal obligations. Sign-in sessions normally expire after 30 days; verification codes are valid for 10 minutes. Third-party providers set their own retention periods.
• We use HTTPS/WSS encryption in transit and restrict server access. A model API key you save in the extension is stored in Chrome local storage and may be sent over an encrypted connection to the backend or chosen model service when testing or using that configuration. Do not enter sensitive content that you do not want sent to the relevant providers.

Your choices and rights

• You can stop listening, deny microphone permission, disable automatic solving on selection, clear side-panel content, or sign out. You can clear extension data in Chrome or uninstall the extension to remove locally saved settings. Uninstalling does not automatically erase server-side account or transaction records.
• To access, correct, or request deletion of account data, email the address below from your registered email account. We will verify your identity and respond under applicable law. Some order and financial records may need to be retained. If a request concerns another meeting participant, please confirm that you are authorized to make it.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

• The use of information received from Chrome/Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use this data only for the interview, exam, and operational features disclosed here and in the extension. We do not sell it or use it for ad targeting. Human access is limited to cases where you explicitly consent to review of specific data, it is necessary to investigate security abuse or comply with law, or the data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
